A new technology platform, launching today, will connect agents directly with prospective home buyers and could change the way both parties behave and interact.
Box+Dice has announced the launch of its app, which will be available to both agents and consumers. The app enables prospective home buyers to chat live with agents, as well as increasing agents’ conversion rates, according to the software provider.
“Agents can now chat directly with buyers in a live chat and save these individual threads for future reference, retrace steps with a real estate timeline and access any contact in the Box+Dice database,” founder and CEO of Box+Dice Travis Williams said.
“Consumers now have one central place to search, manage and communicate with agents while navigating their way through the buying process. They may also ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ various attributes of properties and the app will help them find better matched listings based on their needs,” he said.
The chat, which is in real time, will be recorded directly into the agent’s CRM and will enable real estate professionals to manage their relationships with clients using a “professional social networking platform”, according to Mr Williams.
“We are changing the way agents and consumers behave by providing a whole new vehicle to connect. Agents can add buyers directly into the app live at any time and likewise, buyers can add themselves to the agent’s listing.”
In addition, the app will streamline data entry at inspections by allowing prospective buyers to “check in”; share suitable listings with buyers directly; show agents their contacts in a timeline format for ease of use; and remind themselves of when and why they dealt with certain agents, Mr Williams said.
Simon Pilcher, director of Pilcher Residential, one of the agents involved in the app’s beta trial, said the app will disrupt the traditional client-agent communication model for the better.
“If you’re a buyer, you’re going to love it – if you’re an agent, you’re going to need it,” he said.
The Box+Dice app is available for free download on iPhone and iPad from the Apple App Store.
