One of the biggest names in real estate has expanded its offering with the launch of a new business as it looks to service a burgeoning property market.

Century 21 has expanded its offerings into the commercial, residential sites and projects divisions with the launch of Century 21 Commercial Australia.

Managing director of Century 21 Commercial Australia, James Barlow, believes the strength and reach of the global Century 21 network offers a distinct advantage for those wishing to transact commercial property.

“As the world’s most recognised real estate company, we are well equipped to generate maximum exposure for properties, embracing our extensive network of both local and international offices,” said Mr Barlow.

“Along with our connections to Sydney’s premier developers and property consultants, we have confidence that we can offer property owners the highest quality engagement, information and outcomes,” he said.

Century 21 Australasia chairman and owner, Charles Tarbey, says the move into the commercial real estate market is in experienced hands with James Barlow and will only expand the opportunities for anybody who owns property in Australia or New Zealand.

“This move was a natural progression for Century 21, as we have demonstrated our ability to work across all facets of the real estate industry with professionalism and expertise,” Mr Tarbey said.

“James has long supported our offices with residential development and project opportunities, therefore we are confident in his ability to generate ongoing value in the commercial sector for clients, as well as current and prospective franchisees.”

Century 21 is the largest real estate sales organisation in the Asia-Pacific region, with 3,000-plus offices, over 300 of which are located in Australia and New Zealand.

In a real estate market where foreign investor interest is strong, Mr Barlow said an established global identity will be the group’s greatest asset.
