In just six months this growing company has introduced a handful of ‘firsts’ for any Australian real estate portal.

Homely.com.au is making its mark as one of the most advanced property portals in Australia by reinventing how millions of people search for homes with new and innovative products.

“We’ve launched some truly unique products that are injecting much-needed competition into the Australian property portal game. I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished,” Homely co-CEO Jason Spencer said.

Homely says it has achieved several firsts for any Australian real estate portal in the past six months, including:

• Launch of Homely Premier Agent, January 2016: The “best agent showcase in Australia” brings together listings, performance statistics, agent-controlled reviews and suburb knowledge to win agents new business.

• Unveiling of Collections, April 2016: “The first truly collaborative and shareable real estate search tool in Australia.”

• Activation of Visual Alerts, May 2016: A property alert tool incorporating a visual dashboard that ensures customers never miss out on new property listings or lose track of previously viewed properties.

• New listing pages, July 2016: Super-fast property listing pages with huge images, extensive property details, large interactive maps, inquiry forms, suburb questions pages and property recommendations.

Homely’s devotion to product innovation and user-centric design was recognised by a nomination for the prestigious international Webby Awards in April 2016.

“The Webby nomination was a true testament to our vision of a faster and easier real estate search experience,” said Homely co-CEO and head of product, Adam Spencer.

“To be recognised as one of the top five real estate sites in the world was a big honour.”

The group’s Premier Agent product has been a big hit with real estate agents across Australia, according to Rocky Bartolotto, Homely’s national sales director.

“We believe agents and property managers have been under-served in terms of personal promotion on portals. We think, at less than $1 a day for most of our packages, Premier Agent will be a welcome addition to fill that void,” he said.
