The most successful woman in real estate is joining the REB Awards’ Major Network of the Year, opening a branch in Balwyn, Victoria.
Helen Yan, the agent ranked number one in the REB’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2016, announced she has left hockingstuart to join Australia’s largest network, Ray White.
Ms Yan – who was also a finalist in the 2016 REB Salesperson of the Year category and was the eighth most successful real estate agent nationwide in the publication’s top 100 rankings – said her decision to join Ray White was driven by family values.
“I am running a family business, and everyone in the Ray White team understands and appreciates family values. It not only creates a very friendly environment for my team and my clients, it’s a great atmosphere to be surrounded by every day,” she said.
Helen has worked in the Balwyn area since she started her real estate career six years ago. She said the suburb is popular with families largely because of the highly regarded local schools, adding that Balwyn is also favoured by foreign buyers.
Ray White’s joint chairman Brian White welcomed Ms Yan to the group.
