One of Australia’s leading real estate networks has appointed an award-winning business development manager to its expanding national recruitment team.

LJ Hooker has appointed Scott Dolce franchise development manager. He joins the corporate team, and is tasked with meeting the network’s ambitious goal to grow the business by another 150 agents as part of its national growth strategy.

Mr Dolce said LJ Hooker is looking beyond the industry to attract high calibre candidates, adding that it is an “exciting initiative” and one he is pleased to be part of.

“We know that there is a significant opportunity for people from non-traditional real estate backgrounds to enter the industry and really flourish,” he said.

Mr Dolce will also be responsible for bringing on new offices in key locations across the country.

“There is a lot of opportunity for expansion in Queensland particularly,” he said.

“It is a natural step for LJ Hooker to strength our presence in the area, especially with the market strengthening off the back of low interest rates, infrastructure improvements and affordability.

“There are enough listing opportunities to support a larger LJ Hooker sales force throughout Queensland.”

LJ Hooker head of real estate Christopher Mourd said the company’s development team is growing rapidly, and is “hungry to find the next big LJ Hooker business”.

“The LJ Hooker brand has some of the best real estate offices and agents in the country, and we are looking to expand on that. It is an exciting time for the network.”

Mr Dolce joins LJ Hooker after five years with McGrath Estate Agents, winning multiple accolades in his time there.
