Following a soft launch in July, a new tech platform has taken off in the real estate market, making a significant initial impact and tracking well ahead of its full roll-out.

Sporting a number of new features, Box+Dice’s new agent/buyer connector app has been downloaded by several thousand agents from its database – and it is helping to change the way agents and buyers interact.

Chief executive Travis Williams said 80 per cent of agents using Box+Dice's previous app have downloaded the new one, describing this level of engagement as “surprising”.

“But then again the agents want to improve their performance and this provides them some valuable tools to do that. The app centralises a buyer’s interactions, making it easier to deal with an agent,” he said.

The app uses an integrated technology that enables buyers to check in, search and communicate with agents live on a messenger-style platform.

For agents, it recognises and arranges contacts, allowing it to double as a CRM system with search, email, call and chat capabilities.

Agents also have access to the buyer data on their operating system. They can record live chats on a visual timeline and send vendor reports from open or private inspections.

The app also collects metadata and maintains a user timeline so that agents have a record of where they’ve been and who they’ve seen.

The Box+Dice App is available for free download on the Apple App Store, and an Android version will be available soon.
