A top agency has increased its presence in Victoria by opening a new office in a desirable bayside suburb.
McGrath Estate Agents has strengthened its position in Melbourne with a new office in Sandringham, increasing the number of franchises the agency has in the area to six.
Fran Harkin, who will be coming on board as a principal agent alongside Mark Zammit, believes Sandringham is a suburb on the rise.
“There are a number of key factors driving demand in Sandringham, namely its bayside location, village lifestyle, good public transport links and proximity to the city,” Ms Harkin said.
McGrath founder John McGrath agreed, adding that Sandringham is among Melbourne’s most desirable areas.
Sandringham offers a vibrant village lifestyle, with its easy access to both the beach and the CBD a major drawcard for buyers,” he said.
Mr Zammit said he and Ms Harkin were attracted to the McGrath brand due to its company values and expertise in the real estate industry.
“The McGrath brand is widely recognised and respected for its core values of excellence and integrity,” he said.
“We are thrilled to now have the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading real estate professionals.”
Sandringham is popular with families, and has several top schools as well as boutique shops and restaurants.
According to CoreLogic RP Data, the median house price in Sandringham increased by 17.2 per cent over the past 12 months to $1,502,500.
The new office will increase the number of McGrath offices on the east coast to 93. Other Victorian offices include Bentleigh, Croydon, Northcote, St Kilda and Waverley.
