Despite concerns about the growth prospects for agency businesses, one real estate group is opening 12 new offices in October.
Raine & Horne will open 10 new offices in Queensland and two in Sydney this month. The openings will bring the franchise network’s number of offices in Queensland to 80.
The group’s recent investment in technology should assist its offices in navigating a rough start to the 2017 property market, Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said.
“The recent investment in new technology and systems will see the growth in franchise businesses,” he said.
In Queensland the new offices are located in Brisbane Central, Goodna, Ipswich, Springfield, Mackay, Mackay Beaches, Moranbah, Commercial Mackay, Redcliffe and Banora Point, while the Sydney offices are in Kingsford and Lindfield.
Raine & Horne marked a milestone 40 years of franchising success recently with a celebration at its flagship Liverpool office, south-west of Sydney, where it opened its first franchise office in 1976.
Raine & Horne was one of the pioneers of the Australian real estate franchise business model.
