An innovative spring marketing campaign by one of Australia’s most recognised brands has seen a NSW couple pocket a $35,000 travel voucher, simply for taking up a market update offer.
In spring, the LJ Hooker entered every property owner who took up a market update offer with one of its agents into a draw.
One lucky person was randomly selected to spin the network’s Million Dollar Prize Wheel and potentially win $1 million to spend on an LJ Hooker property, $35,000 in cash, a $35,000 travel voucher or an Audi A1.
Gordon and Leighanne Patterson – who dealt with LJ Hooker Bega – spun the wheel and won the $35,000 travel voucher.
Mr Patterson said he was thrilled with the win.
“Leighanne and I have known Simon [Owens] at LJ Hooker Bega for many years. LJ Hooker Bega has sold several of our homes and managed our investment properties as well,” he said.
Mr Owens said he was pleased his long-time clients had walked away as winners.
“I’m ecstatic that from all over Australia, it’s one of Bega’s own that has taken home the national prize and even more pleased that it’s Gordon and Leighanne,” he said.
A market update from LJ Hooker provides a rundown of what a property can fetch in the marketplace. It also identifies options that can appeal to current and emerging market demands.
During the three-month campaign, LJ Hooker also gave away $1,000 cash to 26 people who had a sales or rental market update with an LJ Hooker agent.
LJ Hooker will continue to offer similar marketing initiatives in 2017.
