A leading real estate group will open an office in a prime location in Sydney’s north shore, underpinning its commitment to one of Australia’s most dependable property markets.
Raine & Horne announced the opening of an office in the leafy suburb of Turramurra to complement its already established locations in the area, including Hornsby, Lindfield, Mosman and Chatswood/Willoughby.
Executive chairman Angus Raine said the group has been involved in property in Sydney’s north shore since 1883.
“The region has been synonymous with the growth and history of our brand,” Mr Raine said.
“We have recognised that Turramurra and surrounding suburbs don’t have a sufficient level of real estate competition, and have sought to rectify this situation for local owners and buyers.”
Raine & Horne Turramurra will be led by experienced local agent Vicki Hall, a long-time resident of the area.
Ms Hall has previously served as a school principal. She has also worked in the finance industry. Since 1996, she has enjoyed a stellar real estate career.
Ms Hall said the Raine & Horne “traditional” brand resonates with north shore home owners, buyers, investors and tenants.
“Raine & Horne has a robust presence on the upper north shore,” she said.
“We can see an opportunity to create more competition for local homeowners in Turramurra, which is traditionally a tightly-held owner-occupier suburb.”
The median house price in Turramurra is $1.83 million, according to research from Raine & Horne.
