REB’s editor Tim Neary said he is not surprised to see the extent to which agents have responded to the call for submissions.
And he said early indications are that the current challenges facing the industry have not blunted the performance of the country’s elite agents in the least.
“The quality of the submissions so far has been extremely high, despite the affordability issues, drop off in listings and interference of the so-called disrupters in the industry,” said Mr Neary.
He also said its clear once again that the very best agents stick to the tried and tested methods of database and brand building and making sure they have good people around them for support.
“Agents who put in the hours and build a presence in their local areas are always going to be in demand and find their way onto the REB Top 100 Agents ranking,” Mr Neary said.
The REB Top 100 Agents ranking metrics are based on the 2016 calendar year for settled residential sales, covering number of sales, sales volume and average selling price.
