A social media platform, in partnership with one of Australia’s largest property portals, has launched a feature that provides up-to date auction results by suburb.

Social network Nabo teamed up with Domain to provide data to its members about the properties that have recently sold in their suburb. The data include the properties’ sale price.

The new feature also provides a discussion platform for analysis and community engagement.

“Property data is inherently local,” Nabo founder and CEO Adam Rigby said.

“Even if they aren’t actively in the market, Nabo members will have their fingers on the pulse of local property prices and can even discuss them with their neighbours.”

Mr Rigby said he expects the feature will become an “invaluable” resource for the community.

A Nabo member survey revealed that insights into local property markets was one of the most popular new features requested by respondents.

“We’ve always sought to deliver a valuable experience for every single member on Nabo and this new feature is one more way in which we’re honouring this commitment,” Mr Rigby said.

Property market updates will be shared weekly and circulated through regular suburb activity emails, alongside local content including crime alerts, events and items for sale.

The new feature will be available on all versions of Nabo – website, mobile responsive, iOS app and Android app.
