The REIQ will host a property buyer symposium that provides detailed information to anyone wanting to participate in Queensland’s property market.
The seminar, The Experts Guide to Buying Property, is now in its fourth year.
Presenters will address property-related topics and attendees will meet sales agents, buyer’s agents, auctioneers, valuers, and banking and legal experts.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said anyone considering their first property purchase, either as a first home buyer or as an investor, should take advantage of this seminar.
“Understanding the Queensland property market can be daunting and having an expert give you tips for finding your next perfect purchase can be really helpful,” Ms Mercorella said.
“Doing your homework and gaining knowledge is the key to making that big property purchase as stress free as possible. Everybody who attends will be able to learn all the tips and tricks from the experts themselves.”
Ms Mercorella said the seminar is a chance for the public to network with experienced property professionals.
“Here is an opportunity to ask questions and get the answers to those burning property queries.”
Sessions will be tailored to suit investors or first home buyers, and will include presentations on auctions, finding bargains, reading data, working with buyer’s agents and conveyancers. Attendees will also receive tips on finance and tax.
All attendees will receive a copy of the REIQ Queensland Market Monitor, as well as material from guest speakers.
The seminar will be held at REIQ HQ, Coorparoo on 25 March. Entrance is free.
