Under the direction of AREC founder John McGrath, the Australasian Real Estate Conference 2017 will address the disruption facing the real estate industry. In addition, 23 world-class speakers will share their knowledge and experiences.
Now in its 20th year, the theme of AREC 2017 is ‘Super Growth’. Delegates will learn how to ‘Grow and stay ahead of the game’.
Mr McGrath said AREC is committed each year to providing delegates with an improved speaker line-up than the year before.
“This was easy in the beginning but gets harder after 20 years,” he said.
“But as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, I have no doubt that this year’s speakers are by far the best ever. Both from inside the real estate industry as well as outside, as they address the most topical subjects for agents and principals.”
Mr McGrath said this year’s program has a balance of real estate experts, inspiring individuals and tech leaders.
Among the speakers are Robert Cialdini author of Influence and Chris Voss, a former FBI head negotiator.
“My aim is that delegates will equip themselves with the attitude and tools to significantly grow their business off the back of AREC,” Mr McGrath said.
AREC organiser Nichola Byrne said the conference has grown exponentially over 20 years, from an audience of 300 then to 4,000 now.
“We want to help delegates grow their business and better service consumer needs,” Ms Byrne said.
“Our focus continues to be on the calibre of our speakers and that their content is particularly relevant to our industry, its trends and its challenges.”
The two-day conference returns for the sixth year to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday, 28 May and Monday, 29 May.
