A prominent boutique real estate group has added an independent agency to its ranks, giving it greater penetration into one of Sydney’s fastest-growing markets.

Liverpool real estate organisation Metro Professionals has joined Starr Partners and will trade as Starr Partners Liverpool.

Metro Professionals has been a fixture in the Liverpool area for the past 20 years, successfully operating in more than 30 suburbs in the greater Liverpool region.

Its director Gavin Belci said the change will future-proof Metro Professional’s thriving business.

“Joining Starr Partners puts us at the forefront of innovation and excellence,” Mr Belci said.

“We are excited to become part of the award-winning group. Starr Partners is highly respected and has a fantastic competitive edge on its competitors through its world-class marketing and technology.”

Starr Partners CEO Douglas Driscoll said he is focused on making quality additions to the Starr Partners network.

“We are proud to be working with Gavin and his team in Liverpool,” Mr Driscoll said.

“The impending airport at Badgerys Creek and improved infrastructure and public transport will help Liverpool emerge as a new CBD, much like Parramatta.”

Mr Belci said Liverpool has gone through “phenomenal” growth recently, with new developments and high-density dwellings.

“In recent years, Liverpool has transformed into an investor market, with around 80 per cent of CBD buyers being investors.

“Right now, however, we are also starting to see a lot of first home buyers in Liverpool’s surrounding suburbs looking for traditional homes.”

Liverpool is Starr Partners’ second office acquisition this year, following the addition of Starr Partners Maitland’s in early March.

Starr Partners was awarded Boutique Network of the Year at the REB Awards 2016 and Mr Driscoll was named real estate’s Thought Leader of the Year.
