A powerhouse agency has lifted the bar in real estate performance, selling 30 properties for $99.87 million in April.

Ray White Double Bay director Craig Pontey says he is “incredibly proud” of his team.

“To sell the equivalent of a property a day in April is quite an achievement,” Mr Pontey said.

Twenty of the 30 properties were sold at auction, with more than 400 people attending the open for inspections. The bulk of the sales were in the $3 million to $7 million range, which according to Mr Pontey is mid-market for Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

“With interest rates remaining affordable, professionals, business owners, lawyers and accountants are continuing to upgrade their homes,” he said.

“Home owners are seeing opportunities to upgrade to something better at a good price and I believe this will continue till the end of the year.”

The April highlight was the sale of the waterfront duplex at 1/2 Beach Street for a cool $13.3 million. The property was sold by Michael Finger, who sold the same three-bedder for $1.25 million 30 years ago.

Ray White Double Bay services home owners across 10 Sydney eastern suburb precincts, including Bondi Junction, Rose Bay, Double Bay, Vaucluse and Randwick.
