McGrath Estate Agents has opened a new office in the Brisbane outer suburb of Cleveland.
McGrath founder and executive director John McGrath says the south-east Queensland property market continues to offer outstanding opportunity for growth as buyers increasingly recognise the value and lifestyle on offer at affordable prices.
“I believe that south-east Queensland will continue to be a beneficiary of the surging property values in both Melbourne and Sydney, where affordability has become a key issue for both young families and retirees,” Mr McGrath said.
McGrath Bayside Cleveland will be led by Pamela Neilson and Stephen Everett.
This is the second office under the leadership of Ms Neilson and Mr Everett who also operate McGrath Bayside Manly, taking over the business from previous franchisee Michelle Rodgers.
Ms Rodgers will continue to service the Wakerley/Gumdale community from the Bayside Manly office.
Ms Neilson brings more than 15 years of local experience and will lead the sales team, focusing on the key suburbs of Raby Bay, Ormiston, Wellington Point and Cleveland.
Mr Everett has extensive management experience in the resource and construction industries in Australia and overseas.
Ms Neilson said the bayside region is increasingly sought after by out-of-area buyers seeking an affordable waterfront lifestyle.
“Bayside suburbs such as Cleveland and Raby Bay offer direct mooring facilities and easy access to the islands of Moreton Bay,” she said.
“With good transport links to the Brisbane CBD, the area is fast becoming a lifestyle destination.”
Meanwhile, Mr Everett said he is excited to bring his business expertise and strategic talents to McGrath.
“I was attracted to the McGrath brand for its commitment to excellence, professionalism and integrity,” he said.
“As a business, it is paramount that we provide our clients with the highest level of customer service and expertise and by partnering with McGrath, I believe we can offer that to both buyers and vendors in the local bayside community.”
McGrath Bayside Cleveland will service the local area from Manly in the north, to Thornlands in the south, to Cleveland/Raby Bay in the east and Burbank in the west.
