One of the country’s most recognised real estate brands is preparing for its innovative biannual auction extravaganza, which could achieve a 100 per cent clearance rate.
Ray White New Farm’s Auction Under the Stars, now in its fourth year, will be held on 30 May when 21 properties will go under the hammer.
The last Auction Under the Stars saw $30 million change hands, with a 99 per cent clearance rate.
Ray White New Farm principal Matt Lancashire said every buyer demographic is catered for.
“We have plenty for buyers in all parts of the market, from first home buyer apartments and unrenovated cottages to prestige properties,” Mr Lancashire said.
“The reason it is so successful is it is not something we do every month. It gives our sellers the opportunity to get a cross section of buyers. We generally find we have our buyers registered on not just one property but multiple [properties].”
The function will be catered for by modern Asian eatery LONgtime and is backed by realestate.com.au. Loan Market mortgage brokers and Ray White property managers will also be in attendance.
Earlier this year, several Queensland offices from the Ray White group auctioned nearly 200 properties and sold $72 million worth of real estate on the Gold Coast in a single week.
The offices achieved this extraordinary result in four well-orchestrated auction events spread across the region.
The main attraction was Ray White Surfers Paradise Group’s annual auction. Known as The Event and dubbed the ‘grand final’ of auctions, it showcased 130 homes and sold more than $40 million of properties in one day.
