Many principals are not achieving the full potential of their rent roll, said one industry leader.
Bob Walters, executive director of Leading Property Managers of Australia (LPMA), believes that many business owners are not getting the numbers right in order to achieve top dollar.
“Most principals are not making the sort of profits that they could from their property management businesses because most don’t have budgets or proper financial scorecards,” he told Residential Property Manager.
“I have done a lot of research into this topic through my consulting services.”
‘Getting the Numbers Right’ is one topic Mr Walters will discuss at the annual LPMA conference on the Gold Coast, where he will demonstrate a number of successful property management revenue models and identify the key drivers of profit.
Other speakers at the conference will include body language and communication expert and best-selling author, Alan Pease; one of Australia’s leading customer service gurus, John Lees; Warwick McCormack, an expert in how to market your business when you have little or no money; Ewan Morton, the owner of one of Australia’s most awarded real estate businesses, Morton & Morton; Deniz Yusuf, a business development manager who has listed over 700 properties in the last three years in a regional area of NSW; John Shackleton, a leading business and peak performance coach from New Zealand; and Bernie Mitchell, a guy who has created a great, specialist PM business while overcoming significant personal challenges.
