First National Real Estate Caloundra in South East Queensland has been announced as the group's number one property management office in Australia.
As part of the network’s annual National Convention on Hamilton Island earlier this month, the top offices were ranked, with the Sunshine Coast office coming out on top.
According to First National Real Estate’s chief executive, Ray Ellis, despite a beginning of a general recovery in the marketplace the last year has been significantly challenging for the profession.
“Last year continued to be a slow market for property, but our members showed their mettle, meeting conditions head on with fortitude and optimism,” Mr Ellis said.
“They continued to put their clients first, which shows in the results they continue to achieve, even when faced with the most arduous and difficult circumstances.
“These awards are a recognition of that hard work, and tireless spirit to ensure they do their best at all times, and it is encouraging to see winners coming from all the nation’s states and territories.”
Alice Springs agency First National Real Estate Framptons was named Most Energy Efficient Office of the Year, while First National Real Estate Ellenbrook received the coveted title of Referral Office of the Year.
Mr Ellis said the First National Awards are an important event as they present an opportunity for members to come together and share their thoughts and views on the industry and events that affect them, such as the natural disasters affecting Australia over the past year.
“During trying times like floods, bushfires and cyclones, our members band together and help each other and their clients where they can, but it is often only through these types of conventions that they are able to see each other face to face,” Mr Ellis said.
“It is this spirit of “we are all in it together” that sets us apart from our competitors, which is why we continue to support our communities with fundraising and sponsorship opportunities and events, as recognised by Mount Barker agency First National Real Estate Pope Nitschke, who took home the Foundation Office of the Year award”.
The awards were announced at a “red carpet” dinner attended by more than 400 agents from across Australasia, at the network’s annual National Convention held on Hamilton Island.
