FRIDAY FUNNIES: Landlord makes dig at 'disgusting' tenants

A Canadian landlord has made several jibes at his "disgusting" tenants by placing an advertisement on an online classified website called Kijiji.

The three-bedroom apartment in New Brunswick will be free to rent from the start of September, but the landlord warns in the description that the property "has not been maintained or cared for in any way whatsoever, and is quite frankly disgusting”, as reported by the Toronto Sun.

Rather than fix the apartment up, the landlord has taken a different approach and has said they are looking for someone "who lives a similar lifestyle ... I know there are a lot of you out there".

The new tenants "would have very little motivation to do anything in life, and won't likely do laundry or shower".

As well, they probably smoke.

"You will likely have a kid or two, not because you necessarily wanted any kids ... it's just that your sexual desires were fraught with the same reckless abandon as your day-to-day life," the advertisement said.

The ad ends with the landlord saying they won't enter the apartment for a viewing, "because I am not a fan of the smell of ammonia".
