A prominent real estate agency has taken home a host of awards from the annual Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) gala dinner, including Property Management Agency of the Year - Large and the Innovation Award for their Wellness Centre.

Toop&Toop was awarded Large Agency of the Year, Property Management Agency of the Year-Large, the Innovation Award and the Marketing and Communication Award.

Speaking exclusively to Residential Property Manager, Toop&Toop head of property management Suzannah Toop said property management is an integral part of their business – if not the most important.

“Over the past 18 months we have focused around changing the way property management is viewed externally by our clients and internally within our team,” she said.

“We now have a culture where we see our role as a valued partner in the wealth management of our clients’ properties.”

On plans for the future Ms Toop said they wish to achieve “absolute efficiency”.

“The property management industry has struggled with workload and the feeling of being ‘caught in the middle’ between landlords and tenants – and even contractors, strata management and insurance agencies,” she said.

“With the changing consumer world of instant connectivity (through smartphones, tablets etc.), we see this to be a growing challenge to overcome.

“We are striving to break this mould and lead the industry in new and innovative ways to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients – both landlords and tenants,” she added.

Toop&Toop also won the Innovation Award for their Wellness Centre, which is an industry first.

The Wellness Centre offers a brand-new, fully equipped gym which staff have personal 24-hour access to.

They have also brought on a full-time personal trainer/wellness coach to also assist staff to find a healthy work-life balance.

With a complete timetable full of classes to choose from, Toop&Toop encourage their staff to find time to take a break from their busy day and regroup.
