A Spiderman fan has dressed up as the comic book hero in a bid to attract a new flatmate.
In the advert posted to Spareroom, the tenant is pictured in different rooms posing in full Spiderman regalia for a property to rent in Manor House, East London.
One of the tenants, simply known as ‘Pete', has described the property as follows:
“House is currently occupied by two dapper gentlemen in their mid-twenties. Both office workers, one working in TV and one in radio, so if you either watch TV or listen to radio we’re off to a corker.”
The current tenants' pastimes include "rock and roll, a cheeky pint, and watching films" – no doubt of the superhero variety.
The room for rent is being advertised at £575 ($1,114) per month - not including bills, the Evening Standard reported.
The new tenant will have access to new appliances, a large television, a sizeable DVD library and Xbox.
Spareroom director Matt Hutchinson said there is an important point behind this creative advertising approach.
"If you're flat sharing, the people you live with are much more important than the property you live in," he said.
