What was originally the Church of Palms in Brisbane is now a luxury home that reconciles the building’s heritage listing with modern design.
The history of this building has seen it go from church, to theatre, to contemporary residence (see below) since its construction in 1867.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home also features a wine cellar, salt-water swimming pool and a mezzanine with study, library and media room.
The architects responsible for the building said there was extensive community and heritage consultation to ensure the integrity of the building and surrounding area.
