If you’re an old-school hip-hop fan then you’re sure to dig this property story out of New York City.
Mike D from the Beastie Boys has recently listed a four-storey Brooklyn townhouse (see below), which he designed, for US$5.65 million (AU$7.56 million).
The rapper-turned-home-designer bought the home in 2011 and, according to Variety, spent under US$500,000 in architecture and renovations.
The home has five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and is positioned on a corner that allows sunlight from three sides of the house through its massive windows.
The townhouse also features a custom chef’s kitchen, two fireplaces, dedicated bike storage and green technology lighting and appliances.
