Daily Delight: Slim pickings for space invader

Keret House5

Measuring 152cm at its widest point and 92cm at its narrowest, a structure in Poland has been labelled the world’s slimmest home.

Keret House (see below) has two floors that include a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a living area that doubles as retractable stairs for entering the building.

The building has custom water and sewage technology that is not connected to the city-provided services and obtains electricity from a neighbouring building.

Despite being currently used as a residence, Keret House has been classified as an art installation since it does not meet Polish building codes.
