A Star Wars fan has transformed his £150,000 ($320,000) collection of toys, posters, action figures, books and life-size Storm Troopers into the ultimate geek hotel.

According to MirrorDave Oldbury has amassed almost 9,000 cast and crew autographs and packed his garage with more than 500 figurines from the film series (see below).

The 46 year old is currently inviting fellow Star Wars fans to stay at his home, via Homestay.com, for £35 ($75) a night ahead of the cinema release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Mr Oldbury told Mirror that he became a fan of the franchise in 1977 and has scoured the world to meet cast members from the various films.

“I have lots of stories to share from hanging out with my heroes and I look forward to giving my guests the inside scoop,” he said.
