Tradie incompetence has reached new heights after a demolition team mistakenly tore down the house of a woman in Texas.
Lindsay Diaz may have considered herself fortunate when her home was spared from tornado damage on Boxing Day; however, she was shocked to find it reduced to rubble three months later, according to Sky News.
Ms Diaz said she spoke to the demolition supervisor, who realised that his team should have torn down the duplex one block further along the street in Rowlett, Texas.
“Boom. Just like the tornado came through again,” Ms Diaz told CBS Dallas.
The demolition company blamed Google Maps for the mix-up and the CEO stated the mistake was “not a big deal”.
Ms Diaz has since filed a police report and hopes to file an insurance claim soon.
