Anyone who’s had the pleasure of walking the streets of Barcelona would be familiar with the architectural masterpieces of Antoni Gaudí.
Regarded as the master of Catalan Modernism, Gaudí is responsible for many distinct buildings in Barcelona, including his magnum opus, La Sagrada Família, which is expected to be completed by 2028.
His works are known for their ornamental details, incorporating elements of baroque and gothic design while using technical advances to produce geometric forms often found in nature.
Below are some of Gaudí’s most iconic designs, including La Sagrada Família, the Episcopal Palace of Astorga and El Capricho.
