A wartime air base and former NATO satellite station in Scotland has recently hit the market.

Listed for £1.1 million ($2.1 million), the 60-foot fibreglass structure is set on 3.6 hectares and includes a satellite communications ground station as well as recreation and office accommodation previously used by military personnel, according to Mirror.

The site was originally home to RAF Balado from 1943 to 1957, and was then used as a satellite and communications station for NATO until it was decommissioned in 2006.

The property is being marketed for variety of potential uses including a communications centre, storage facility, retirement home, or a pitch and putt course.
