A property management industry figure who spent more than 20 years working in various roles passed away from brain cancer in September.

Simon Cox lost his fight with brain cancer on 22 September.

Coronis, located in suburban Brisbane, said Mr Cox’s career in property management spanned more than two decades, during which he worked as a property manager, rent roll business coach and trainer, business development manager, and most recently area leader for Coronis.

The company said Mr Cox’s passion, dedication and knowledge were second to none, and was evident through his numerous industry awards.

Coronis property management director Jodi Ford said Mr Cox had played an integral role in the development of the Coronis team and rent roll in the past two years.

“We were very blessed to have Simon on our team, if only for a short time,” Ms Ford said.

“Simon’s strategies for success, team mentoring, energy and motivational attitude have proven invaluable and our team will miss him dearly.

“He was without a doubt one of the most caring, loving, kind and courageous men that I have ever known, and anyone who knew him will know what a loss to the industry this is.”

To help support the Cox family, Coronis has established the Simon Cox Family Fund. Contributions can be made to:
