Connection Services by realestate.com.au, an online solution helping movers to easily connect with utilities and telecommunications providers, now welcomes EnergyAustralia to its list of energy providers.
EnergyAustralia joins AGL and Origin as utilities providers on Connection Services. Movers that select EnergyAustralia for electricity or gas will have their services supplied under the ‘Basic Home Plan’ which offers no lock-in contracts.
In just two years, realestate.com.au’s Connection Services has connected more than 35,000 utilities, providing simplified solutions to what are sometimes time-consuming processes.
realestate.com.au also provides tenants peace of mind with its ‘Power On Guarantee’ that ensures electricity will be switched on for their move-in day.
REA Group executive general manager – residential, Andrew Rechtman, said Connection Services provides a seamless experience for both movers and property managers.

EnergyAustralia chief customer officer, Kim Clarke, said partnering with realestate.com.au and its online Connection Services platform helps make for a smoother move from one house to another.
“In just a few clicks customers can plan for the power to be on the moment they step foot inside,” she said.
“They can then get on with unpacking and enjoying their new home. We know moves don’t always go to plan but having the lights come on is one thing customers shouldn’t have to worry about.”
For both movers and real estate agents there is no cost to use Connection Services.
