One of Perth’s largest new home and land developers has announced the launch of an affordability program to support all WA home buyers.

Nicheliving launched the Nicheliving Home Affordability Program following the recent decision by the WA government to reduce the first home owners grant to $10,000 from 1 July.

“With a commitment to providing easier access to the so-called Great Australian Dream, we took this announcement as an opportunity to offer greater support to all West Australians pursuing a home ownership goal, not just first home buyers,” Nicheliving director Ronnie Elhaj said.

The program will offset the changes in the grant with a private initiative that offers all-inclusive new home and land packages and apartments priced around 30 per cent lower than the suburb’s median price.

“This additional discount on such a highly competitive, quality product offers tremendous value to home buyers,” Mr Elhaj said.

“Nicheliving has a thorough understanding of how to cost-effectively produce a development that offers both initial and ongoing affordability to the home owner.”

Mr Elhaj said Nicheliving’s experience in affordable developments enables it to offer packages worth around $10,000 more than the standard offer.

“This can sometimes be the difference in whether a home buyer can afford a particular property or not. We believe that WA businesses have the power to bring about meaningful change to our state’s economy and our overall city.”

Nicheliving has won several UDIA WA Awards for Excellence.
