A former AFL player who has been inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame has recently come on board to Elders Real Estate.
Anthony Stevens, a former AFL player for the North Melbourne Football Club, or the Kangaroos, has joined Elders Real Estate as a rural real estate sales executive.
His role will see him serving clients across agriculture asset classes in Victoria and the Riverina area, alongside Nick Myer, rural real estate manager, Victoria and Riverina.
“I was drawn to Elders for the company’s long-standing history with rural Australia, the culture and the business model that allow agents to work together within the national network,” Mr Stevens said.
“The opportunity to work with a diverse range of local and international clients in the agricultural sector is something I am looking forward to,” he said.
Elders general manager Tom Russo said Mr Stevens’ understanding of rural real estate and agricultural enterprises will be an asset for the agency.
“Anthony is ideally placed to forge an outstanding career with Elders and will bring the same passion, integrity and professionalism he applied throughout his football career to service our rural real estate clients,” Mr Russo said.
“Both Anthony and Nick have extensive networks throughout Victoria and will be a very powerful team.”
