Despite Sydney’s cooling housing market, a burgeoning network has opened a prestige office in one of the city’s most lucrative suburbs.
After experiencing significant growth in the past year, Harcourts NSW has opened an office in Randwick, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, a first in the area for the national brand.
Leading the new office are Alan Byrnes, Peter Shaw and Sharon Marsh, who have more than 65 years of real estate experience between them, locally and in the surrounding areas.
Mr Byrnes said the eastern suburbs is home to some of Sydney’s best-known assets.
“Home buyers are increasingly choosing location over size, aiming to buy in areas that offer proximity to jobs, good schools and places to go on the weekends,” he said.
“That is the appeal of Sydney’s eastern suburbs. It has the perfect alignment of beaches, bars, restaurants, the beach and the city.”
The office has a team of twelve, with plans to expand over the coming months.
CEO of Harcourts NSW Mark Morrison said the move forms an integral part of the group’s expansion strategy.
“Alan, Peter and Sharon’s extensive knowledge of the area’s property market will be integral to growing the Harcourts footprint in the east and we are excited to watch the expansion of the brand in this beautiful part of Sydney.”
Harcourts NSW has opened 14 new offices in the last 12 months.
