One expanding group has added another office to its network in Queensland by taking a strategic position in north-east Brisbane.
RE/MAX opened an office in the developing suburb of Hendra, in a strategic location for accessing arterial roads and several sought-after suburbs.
The office will be led by Richard Siganto.
Mr Siganto said the office’s position in the prime northern corridor will serve customers in a broad geographical area.
“Hendra is just six kilometres out of the Brisbane CBD. We bring RE/MAX to a suburb that is lacking any major brand presence, but is flanked by blue-chip suburbs like Clayfield, Hamilton and Ascot,” he said.
“Hendra itself is becoming increasingly popular, and RE/MAX Signature will deliver the same inner-city real estate experience through gentrified suburbs such as Boondall, Banyo and Nudgee as it does for Ascot and Hamilton, for instance.”
A key location on busy Nudgee Road would give the office high visibility, but Mr Siganto took the unusual move to open the office in a 340-square metre warehouse.
“Today’s real estate consumer is less concerned with photos in the windows and being able to walk into an office,” he said.
“What we have established are contemporary, professional offices plus a large storage capacity, which we intend to offer for our customers’ use.
“Rather than the expense of storage, should they need it, they can store household items here for free.”
Franchise director of RE/MAX Australia, Joel Davoren, welcomed Mr Siganto to the network, saying he matched the global brand’s core beliefs and values.
“Richard has a highly successful career history in real estate and other fields, and has shown great innovation and leadership,” Mr Davoren said.
“A reinvigorated drive and passion for real estate brought him to RE/MAX with a desire to grow a strong and successful business.”
