Designed by award-winning architects at Redgen Mathieson, The Agency's new headquarters are ready to be unveiled. The HQ holds pride of place in Sydney’s posh eastern suburbs overlooking Bondi Beach, the iconic Australian destination.

The Agency CEO Matt Lahood said the space has been designed to be transparent, to embody the brand’s dynamic approach to the real estate industry.

“Our vision was to create an environment where our staff could share ideas, network and engage,” he said.

“Energy is everything in this business, and the [location] offers agents the best lifestyle and work environment we can deliver.

“Positioned to service the entire Sydney eastern suburbs footprint, we view the Bondi office as more than a workspace. It is there for our community, be it our network of staff, clients, business partners, family and friends. We want people to pop in, have a coffee, enjoy the view and plug in to our open hot desk.”

The office boasts a raft of design features, including a 9.5-metre solid concrete hot desk, LED video walls, an indoor/outdoor boardroom and an in-room auction facility.

Architect and director of Redgen Mathieson Phillip Mathieson said The Agency wanted to avoid current design fashions and to create a space as unique as the business model itself.

“In the brief there was a clear desire to enhance the collaborative energy of the agents and to utilise technology,” Mr Mathieson said.

“These ideals overlaid the functional requirements, including individual spaces for agents, training and meeting rooms, and areas for presentations and launch events.”

Mr Mathieson said the office was conceived as a gallery space, with exposed raw concrete surfaces, blockwork walls and services key to the design’s framework.

“Transparency is an innate part of The Agency’s ethos, and this is physically represented in the office’s open-plan, exposed design. Polished concrete floors and a palette of white, silver and grey throughout unify the space.”
