Two award-winning agents will leave one of Australia’s most established networks to join up with one of its fastest growing ones.

Andrew Oostenbrink, who achieved Chairman’s Club status with the Ray White Group last financial year, will open a Belle Property office in the sought-after Brisbane suburb of Carindale, along with his business partner Steve Song.

Mr Oostenbrink said it was the “right time” to step into business leadership and Belle Property was the “right brand” to do it with.

“We are quality people and Belle Property is a quality brand,” he said.

“This is more than a career. In order to create something bigger and better, we need a bigger platform. Aligning with Belle Property will enable us to take that step up.”

Mr Oostenbrink has had a rapid rise since joining the industry less than four years ago. In his first year, he achieved Elite status with Ray White, before entering the Chairman’s Club as one of only a handful of members in the country. He was also ranked as Ray White’s number one agent south of the river in Queensland.

In the last financial year, he sold in excess of 100 properties and achieved a 90 per cent conversion rate in property appraisals.

“I’ve built my business on a foundation of quality and trust,” said Mr Oostenbrink.

“I started a referral-based business partnering with local schools and cafes and got to know people. That’s how my business began and how I have run it ever since.”

Mr Song is in his third year as an agent. He was mentored by Mr Oostenbrink and has doubled his business in the last financial year.

“I’ve learnt so much from Andrew and developed my own style,” said Mr Song.

“Chinese buyers represent a huge portion of purchasers in the area, and my Chinese background allows me to bridge the gap between Australian and Chinese cultures for these buyers.”

Belle Property CEO Peter Hanscomb said the opening of Belle Property Carindale was the beginning of a big partnership.

“Andrew and Steve represent the very best in real estate and it’s with great pride that we welcome yet another million-dollar duo to the Belle Property family,” Mr Hanscomb said.

“We are very excited. What we have here is a young, driven business with two natural leaders at the helm, ready to take their already thriving operation to the next level.”
