In a surprise move, a top-ranked McGrath agent has announced he will join one of Australia’s most rapidly expanding boutique networks.
Epping-based agent Kevin Dearlove will team up with Stone Real Estate.
Mr Dearlove, who consistently ranked among the top 1 per cent at McGrath, is now franchisee of Stone’s 14th office, Stone Real Estate Beecroft.
Mr Dearlove said that his decision to join the Stone team was driven by Stone’s progressive approach.
“Stone is a very good-looking and engaging brand and presents homes beautifully,” Mr Dearlove said.
“There is also a lot of positive synergy to my move as a lot of the people here are also top agents. This is the perfect time to join Stone as it is on the ground floor of what the company can, and will, become.”
The Stone Beecroft office will open in late September in Beecroft Place Market development.
“We wanted to have the physical office more embedded in the community as that’s what this region is all about—community and family,” Mr Dearlove said.
Stone Real Estate CEO Peter Mumford said that he is “delighted” to have Mr Dearlove on board.
“We’ve held Kevin in high regard for a long time,” Mr Mumford said.
“For over a decade he’s been a proven performer in one of Sydney’s most competitive markets and is greatly respected by the community.”
Joining Mr Dearlove are his wife and projects manager, Rebecca; Alastair Kivell; James Ramsay; and Mandarin and Cantonese speakers Jeff Luo and Chloe Jurd.
