One of the most successful female agents in New South Wales has teamed up with high-profile network The Agency, after a two-decade-long stint with First National Real Estate in Epping.

Catherine Murphy will join The Agency and operate across the North Epping, Epping and Eastwood suburbs, where she believes she will expand her buyer reach.

Ms Murphy said that moving brands after 20 years is a significant move, and there were a number of factors that inspired her to do so.

“The decision to make a change was in part driven by the exciting things The Agency is doing within the marketplace and the direction the company is heading,” she said.

“But it was more than the marketing; the people behind the brand are inspiring, influential and, most importantly, real. I’m excited for the next 10 years with a brand that has a great culture and the ability to bring change.”

She also said that she looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.

“I’m excited about having the freedom to be able to make my own decisions based on individual vendor’s needs,” said Ms Murphy.

“To explore what’s working in the marketplace and how best to source buyers, rather than having to advertise in media forms that are no longer relevant,” she added.

The Agency CEO Matt Lahood said that Ms Murphy’s move is a significant coup for The Agency.

“Catherine has proven to be an exceptional agent with over 20 years of experience in the Epping region of Sydney. We are absolutely honoured she has chosen to join The Agency after two decades with the same brand,” Mr Lahood said.

“She is also very well-regarded in the industry, which is important to us.”
