A Melbourne-based technology start-up has been recognised for the contribution it is making to the Australian real estate landscape by being crowned the winner in three important categories at the 2017 Australian Business Awards.
ActivePipe is the ABA100 winner in all three of the technology innovation, marketing innovation and software innovation categories of the 2017 ABAs.
ActivePipe has quickly earned a reputation as a leader in automated communications for real estate with its predictive-algorithm-driven suite of tools. The algorithms assist in identifying immediate pipeline opportunities.
CEO Ashley Farrugia said that ActivePipe’s culture is grounded in innovation.
“In just three years, we have gone from helping one real estate agent to helping thousands across Australia and New Zealand,” the CEO said.
“The swift uptake of our product proves the demand for marketing automation and data discovery in the real estate industry.”
ABA program director Tara Johnston said that innovation is the driver of most business growth in the digital economy.
“Today, companies are facing a competitive and continuously changing business landscape,” Ms Johnston said.
“In this context, the performance of companies depends more than ever on their flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness. New technological possibilities have the potential to transform the way companies operate within their respective industries with long-term efficiency, productivity and customer loyalty benefits.”
ActivePipe chief technology officer Michael Messig said that real estate has some catching up to do in the tech space.
“We are solving problems people don’t know they have yet; we are giving them abilities they weren’t aware they needed,” Mr Messig said.
Now in its fifth year, the Australian Business Awards recognises technological innovations and achievements.
