LJ Hooker is making a substantial growth statement as the spring selling season approaches by opening seven new residential offices across four states from 1 September.
In New South Wales, LJ Hooker will open new offices in Dapto, Nowra, Rockdale and Wauchope, while also introducing new teams to Grantville in Victoria, Mackay in Queensland and Plympton in South Australia. .
The network will also open a commercial agency in St George and introduce a sister agency, Harveys Henderson Rentals, in New Zealand.
Head of network development Ben Mitchell said that spring presents a “great opportunity” to bring new initiatives to market because activity is traditionally high in this season.
“But beyond the changing weather, the calibre and experience of new applicants we’re working with underlines the unique franchise offering and vision we’ve created,” Mr Mitchell said.
“In the current environment, we’re fielding a lot of interest on the back of our brand strength.”
The new office openings follow a serious marketing push from the network, both on and offline, to capitalise on the spring selling season.
Offline, a person will win $1,000 every day from 1 September until 30 November, and an owner will win back their agent commission valued up to $15,000.
Online, LJ Hooker has teamed up with Facebook, Tiger Pistol and Active Pipe to launch an industry-first $1 million digital and social media business development drive.
Mr Mitchell said that LJ Hooker would continue to bring on new agencies in the latter part of 2017.
“We’re actively recruiting new development managers to accommodate the heightened interest in the brand and explore new emerging markets,” Mr Mitchell said.
