One of Australia’s leading boutique networks announced that it has acquired another important location in NSW in line with its goal to extend its footprint in the state.

Starr Partners has announced that RE/MAX in Minchinbury has rebranded and is now part of the growing group.

CEO Douglas Driscoll said that the Minchinbury office will be a strong addition to the network.

“Minchinbury is the fourth addition to our award-winning group this year, which we are thrilled to announce,” the CEO said.

“We are focused on the continued expansion of our NSW footprint with quality additions, and anticipate Minchinbury’s local market to boom in the coming years.

“Our offices in the neighbouring areas of Erskine Park and St Marys have thrived for many years, and we are looking forward to similar success in Minchinbury.”

Starr Partners Minchinbury director Scott Edwards said that the change in ownership will give local residents more opportunities in the property market.

“Vendors in the Minchinbury area will be given access to a wider database of buyers through the support of our strong office network,” Mr Edwards said.

“And they will also gain the benefit of Starr Partners’ customer-centric approach and innovative marketing tools in the sale of their home.”

Mr Edwards is well known in the area through his 15-year career managing the neighbouring Starr Partners Erskine Park and St Marys locations.

Mr Edwards said that Minchinbury, which is located close to the M4 and M7 motorways, has always been a high-demand area and is currently undergoing demographic changes.

He also said that while the average age of property owners is currently between 40 and 59, a dominant market of first home buyers is becoming evident.

“Houses in Minchinbury and the surrounding Erskine Park and St Marys areas have been particularly popular in recent months. We’re seeing a significant number of first home buyers come through the area looking at houses under the $750,000 price point, which is a direct result of the stamp duty concessions.

“Anything in that price range is moving very quickly. Buyer interest in the area will continue to go from strength to strength, especially as nearby developments such as the Eastern Creek Retail Centre gain momentum.”

Starr Partners won the REB Awards’ Boutique Network of the Year in both 2016 and 2017. At the group’s internal awards, the Erskine Park and St Marys office won the annual award for customer service five years running.
