Queensland's sales A List for 2017 revealed

Ray White Queensland chief executive officer Tony Warland said that the awards have formed an important part of the Queensland real estate landscape.

“These awards create a level playing field and I congratulate each agent who made the A List in 2017," Mr Warland said.

“Whether you made the list for the first time or the fifth time, it’s a remarkable achievement and something to be recognised and celebrated.”

The list of 150 agents is spread across all of Queensland’s markets using sales data from the 16,500 registered salespeople based on three criteria: number of sales, value of sales and the number of listings for the previous calendar year.

The awards are open to salespeople only, not business owners or principals.

A List awards spokesperson Ashleigh Molden said that the list is well sought after in the state, but that agents cannot put themselves forward for it.

"It compares agents from all agency groups using their sales data. You cannot nominate for this award," Ms Molden said.

The data reveals that A listers make up just 2.2 per cent of all active agents but sell 12.4 per cent of all Queensland properties in 2016.

It also shows that the average salesperson in Queensland made seven sales in 2016, but the A listers averaged 45 sales during the year.

The average salesperson in Queensland had a total sales value of $3.6 million, while A listers averaged a total sales value of $23 million during the year.
