One rising network’s new office is off to a flying start after breaking the area’s sales record by more than $1 million, only less than three months after opening.

Stone Real Estate’s Beecroft office sold a house in Cheltenham for a little over $5 million prior to auction.

The sale follows a stellar two months for Stone Beecroft where the office has exchanged no less than $30 million worth of property since opening, with the area’s number one agent, Kevin Dearlove, at the helm.

Mr Dearlove said that his entire team is “on fire”.

In August, Mr Dearlove announced that he would leave McGrath, where he consistently ranked among its top achievers, to join Stone Beecroft.

He said at the time that his decision to join the Stone team was driven by Stone’s progressive approach.

Looking back now, Mr Dearlove feels that his decision was a good one.

“I could see that this was a perfect time to branch out with the Stone Real Estate brand and a new Beecroft office — and our success in what has really only been a matter of weeks proves it,” the agent said.

“There is such a positive reception to the Stone brand. The agency is genuinely progressive in the way it operates and presents homes beautifully.”

Stone Real Estate CEO Peter Mumford said at the time that he was “delighted” to have Mr Dearlove on board.

Mr Mumford said that he had held Mr Dearlove in high regard for a long time.

“For over a decade, he’s been a proven performer in one of Sydney’s most competitive markets and is greatly respected by the community.”
