A niche Victorian network has taken out an award that recognises the important contribution it makes to its local catchment area.

Biggin & Scott Knox was announced a winner of the Community Service Award in the 2017 REIV Awards for Excellence.

Biggin & Scott Knox is the largest franchisor in the network. It established its first office in Boronia in 2012 and added Wantirna, Rowville and Bayswater in quick succession.

CEO of Biggin & Scott Knox Adam Flynn was delighted to win the award, particularly since it was in the community service category.

“We are so excited to win this award because, as business owners, we feel it is an important and essential responsibility to give back to the community which supports our business and our people,” the CEO said.

“This award is a recognition of the contribution we have made, and we are very proud and humbled to have received such an amazing award.”

Over the last three years, Biggin & Scott Knox has raised more than $100,000 for the Heartkids Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing support to children with heart disease.

Director Danelle Hunter was also thrilled that Biggin & Scott Knox was honoured with this particular award.

“As very active members of the local Knox community, we feel it’s incredibly important to give back as much as possible. To be acknowledged for all our hard work in this area is a great honour,” Ms Hunter said.

Biggin & Scott Knox was also a finalist in the Large Residential Agency of the Year category.
