One niche group has experienced a remarkable period of growth after making a series of clever changes to its business model.

Professionals Real Estate has added six new offices to its east-coast network in the past month alone.

General manager of the eastern seaboard Alastair Lias said that the growth is a “direct result” of the changes.

“We have introduced several lead generation systems that are of no extra charge to our members,” Mr Lias said.

“We’ve also introduced key business partnerships to enhance our procurement offer to members. It’s a high-value set fee with add-on solutions to suit a variety of real estate businesses.”

Mr Lias added that people want to be associated with a recognisable brand along with the financial advantages of partnering with a member-based group.

“We have a great new brand that reflects our name ‘Professionals’ which is seen as a trusted brand by the public,” the GM said.

“Our niche brand is supported by key member services and a unique value proposition. Recently, we were targeted by a similar real estate brand, which just reinforced the commitment and trust that our members have in Professionals as a whole.

“The competitor’s offer barely affected us and the response of true group belonging we had from our members was fantastic.”

Mr Lias said that the new offices all have diverse backgrounds.

The growth sees Professionals “push back” into the ACT for the first time in five years, the GM said.

“Our new offices are excited about the future and how we can continue to be an attraction brand into the future.”

The new offices are in Preston in Victoria; Canberra in the ACT; Yeppoon, Red Bank Plains and Jimboomba in Queensland; and Charmhaven in New South Wales.
