A potent boutique agency has deepened its WA footprint by joining forces with another highly respected independent in Perth, in a move that is expected to ruffle more than just a few feathers in one of the city’s most exclusive markets.

Realmark Real Estate Group has announced that it will merge with Altitude Real Estate on 1 February to launch the Realmark Urban office in the leafy suburb of Subiaco.

Realmark managing director John Percudani said that the merger gives the new entity a commanding competitive edge.

There is a “strong” strategic fit between the two agencies, the managing director said.

“By combining Altitude’s social media marketing strategies with Realmark’s extensive client database, we will have the strongest reach of any real estate group in WA and the ability to use our unique digital expertise to bring properties directly to more people,” Mr Percudani said.

He added that Realmark is an industry pacesetter in WA.

“Realmark continues to attract top-calibre agencies and professionals to our network who value how we are adapting to the rapidly evolving nature of real estate business.

“These agents understand that consumer expectations are different today, and they recognise how important it is to be part of a smart agency that has the knowledge and resources to provide clients with real-time, best-practice solutions.”

Altitude Real Estate was founded in 2008 by Paul Tonich and his cousin, Nathan.

Mr Tonich said that Realmark Urban would leverage the strength of both agencies and deliver a modern approach to real estate.

“Real estate is a competitive business,” the founder said.

“We’re always looking for ways to enhance how we deliver property services to our clients and how we develop the next generation of real estate leaders within our business.”

Mr Tonich will join Realmark’s executive leadership team and will take on additional roles within the network as a practice leader and executive coach.
