Over 100 years of real estate experience have come together this month to create a new super-office in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Two of Sydney’s top real estate agencies; Bill Malouf’s LJ Hooker Double Bay, operating since the mid-1950s; and LJ Levi, established in 1978 and led by Mark Meyer will join forces and become LJ Hooker Double Bay Group, with office locations in Double Bay and Rose Bay.
Both offices will bring their own core strengths to the merger.
Mr Malouf has over 30 years of experience selling in the eastern suburbs and is renowned for specialising in prestige property and negotiations.
Mr Meyer has more than 25 years of experience in the local area leading a successful property management and project marketing team.
Mr Malouf said that their shared values around “exceptional” customer experience sparked their initial discussions.
“The customers’ experience has always been our number one priority and Mark and his team operate with the same conviction,” Mr Malouf said.
Mr Malouf added that feedback has been “extremely” positive.
“Our clients have wholeheartedly endorsed the move to bring the two brands together.
“We have families who come back to us regularly and also recommend us to their relatives and friends. This belief in our services is deeply appreciated.”
Mr Meyer said that the two teams will create one of the largest agencies in the area.
“Bringing some of the best real estate agents and property managers under the one brand, with even better systems and processes, technology and a focus on digital marketing will inevitably mean our team will be able to focus on what they do best: listing, negotiating, leasing and selling property,” Mr Meyer said.
LJ Hooker Double Bay Group will offer sales and property management services across both locations and the wider eastern suburbs area.
It will also add a project marketing capability to its portfolio.
