After 20 years operating under another well-known brand, one of Parramatta’s leading real estate businesses has announced that it has switched allegiance to join one of the country’s fastest growing networks.
Coming from a family-owned and led business, George, Chris and Nathan Sahyoun have left LJ Hooker to join the Belle Property network. They bring with them a team of 25 people and a rent roll of more than 2,000 properties.
Principal George Sahyoun said that the move was purely strategic.
“As we look to the future and continue to evolve in business, we want to develop our technology, our marketing, our social interactions as well as move into a regional-hub approach,” the principal said.
“We need to be doing things bigger, better, faster and smarter than anyone else.”
Mr Sahyoun added that the family are born and bred locals and are prominent within the Parramatta business community.
He said that having grown from a relatively small operation to its current powerhouse, they pride themselves on their business acumen.
“Our biggest ambition for the next 12 months is converting 25 LJ Hooker employees to 25 Belle Property members.
“That will be our biggest success for 2018, and we would be more proud of that than writing millions for dollars each month.
“We are focused on the customer experience and ensuring our service levels are premium and unrivalled. Throughout the transition, we will make sure we maintain a very happy team and client base.”
Belle Property CEO Peter Hanscomb said that the opening of the office in Parramatta was as much about the people as it was about the location.
“We have probably had a dozen approaches over the years to open in Parramatta, but we were never quite happy with the cultural fit,” the CEO said.
“We have gotten to know the Sahyoun family over a long period of time and we align with their values and the fact that they are tenacious business people. They have an absolute desire to take the Belle Property brand in the right way through the Parramatta district.”
